After he lost that game to Oregon and Mariota is when it all started to come together for Hundley. He started making his reads and going through his progressions much quicker to get rid of the ball. Hundley also started sensing pressure and sliding in the pocket as well as throwing on the run.

And when needed, he remembers now that he’s a good athlete and started taking off and getting chunks of yardage. This is huge because pocket presence is the most important thing you need in the NFL because those guys are coming. And in a quarterback prospect with so much upside, the ability to adapt and improve are the most important traits to a scout.
