2015 NFL Draft Prospect Hau’oli Kikaha

Bottom Line

If Kikaha blows the combine up, he’s a 1st-round pick but to me, he just has to be pretty good because he’s good at football. However, if I were a G.M., I would take him in the second round because no one else is thinking of taking him in the first. Whoever gets him is going to get a good football player because he turns is skill into production in the Pac 12, where the left tackles are.

Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr ended up the best quarterback in the 2014 NFL Draft class but he went in the Round 2. All the teams that took other quarterbacks over him had to do was look at his tape and remember his production. Just like running back Melvin Gordon is going to be the first running back off the board because he rushed for over 2,000 yards this year.

The best way to be good at something is to know how to do it and his production says he knows how to do it.

And taking those types of players is the best way to avoid taking a bust.

The only little question about Kikaha is his medicals.
