Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon’s record for rushing yards in a game only lasted a week but he got over that fast. He’s too busy being the No. 1 NFL Draft prospect at the running back position and going over 2,000 yard for the season. In an age where there isn’t much value placed on the running back position, Gordon has a lot of value because his talent is special.

Meanwhile the Detroit Lions have a great defense to go along with Calvin Johnson at receiver and Mathew Stafford at quarterback. A great running back is all the Lions need to have a chance to make a run at the Super Bowl immediately. And with the Reggie Bush thing not working out because he’s broke off, (hurt) Gordon can come right in and help.
