Power

Please don’t think that all Orchard can do is beat you with speed because that definitely is not the case with him. He is powerful too as he can jar a tackle with those powerful hands of his and use a bull rush when a tackle is expecting speed. He is a complete pass rusher and his complete pass rushing skill-set is why he is tied for the FBS lead in sacks.

He’s also tough against the run as he knows how to use his power to set the edge and shed blocks well so he can run to the ball. With the power to go with the speed and finesse he has Orchard just doesn’t stay blocked no matter the type of play. A defensive player that doesn’t stay blocked is what all scouts and general managers are looking for to take in the draft.
