Barring injuries, Beckham Jr. and the NFL Draft class of 2014 receivers have a remarkable future ahead of them. It’s gong to be really interesting to see if they come close too or surpass the class of ’96 over the years. The rule change that prohibits defensive backs from putting their hands them beyond five yards will help their cause a lot.
But they do have to stay healthy, stay focused, show up, run the routes and catch the ball so it still remains to be seen. One thing that I do know is this is an exciting class and I’ll be watching them no matter what it is they do. And on a side note, it’s a 2-horse race between Beckham Jr. and Watkins for who ends up having the best career but there will be others emerging from the NFL Draft class of 2014 receivers.
