 Bottom Line

Cooper was wise to come out this year instead of last year because he would not have gone in the first round at that time. But he waited and improved a bit while his competition got way worse so I hope no one is looking for Odell Beckham Jr. here. Don’t get me wrong, this class will do well—you can barely put your hands on a receiver these days anyway.

This grounp of receivers may still be playing when bump-and-run coverage is ruled out of the game altogether. But this is not the year of the receiver the way 2014’s draft class was—2015 is going to be the year of the pass rusher. I wouldn’t pick either one of these receivers including Cooper before pick No. 9 in this years draft because the value isn’t there.
