Maryland Terrapins receiver Stephon Diggs should have been a top 2015 NFL Draft prospect this year. But bad luck and his own bad decision cost him the big-time numbers he could have had in college. He had 654 yards on 52 catches this year as his season was cut short by a laceration of one of his kidneys.

The decision he made was choosing Maryland to stay at home when the 5-star recruit could have went anywhere in the nation. He just never got a chance to put up the numbers a guy that’s going in the first round this year got the chance to do with the quarterbacks he played with. But I’m telling you right now that the young man has breath-taking ability and whoever gets him will be happy.

The 6’0″, 190-pound speedster was clocked at 4.3 by his coaching staff and he looks every bit of it and then some on tape. And to go with his speed, he has moves that have moves to shake off defenders and get all the separation he needs. And even though he’s not a big guy, he will go up and get one if you throw it up for him.

He’s also a return man so not only to you get a special teams player, you get a guy that can run after the catch. Going back to his speed, I believe he’s under 4.3 by now and will run it out with Miami Hurricanes receiver Phillip Dorsett for the fastest man at the combine. What I saw from him on tape was phenomenal and a 1st-round grade but his injury and production have him down in the second round.

So he should be gone very early in the second round.
