Dec 5, 2014; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Oregon Ducks defensive end DeForest Buckner (44) celebrates after a sack in the second quarter against the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Championship at Levi

DeForest Buckner

Ducks junior 3-4 defensive end DeForest Buckner was a big part of that and made himself some money that night if he comes out. Buckner pressured the quarterback all night long, had a sack to show for it and made it hard for the Wildcats to run the ball. So the Wildcats had three quarterbacks combine for only 113 yards passing while the team averaged 3.2 yards per carry rushing.

Run or pass, the Wilcats simply couldn’t block Buckner as he looked just as good as some of the higher projected 3-4 ends. The 6’7″, 290-pound Buckner is quick off the ball and very strong at the point of attack, using his length to shed blocks. That length and burst off the ball also serves him well as a pass rusher too as he can surprise you and make it around the corner as well as use his length for his pass rush moves.
