Production
I like the combine measurements just like everyone else but we should count a prospect’s production before anything else. Production is something that Monroe has as he is one of only three interior FBS defensive lineman that have 10 sacks. Of those three, Monroe is one of the two that will definitely be coming out in the 2015 NFL Draft.
And if you think his production is a result of picking on lesser competition, it is a must that you think again and think hard. He has sacks against Michigan, Penn St. Michigan St. Wisconsin, and two against the mighty Ohio State Buckeyes. It’s going to be really interesting to see what he does against Stanford’s offensive line on the 30th in the Foster Farms Bowl.
