No Quarterback

In a previously written article, I recommended that Nelson Agholor stay a USC  Trojan with Cody Kessler because they were just starting to click. Then I’ve watched Stanford Cardinal receiver Ty Montgomery’s draft stock plummet from the first round because of his quarterback Kevin Hogan’s play. And watching Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Cody Thomas play, I get the feeling that he’s going to hold Green-Beckham back.

Montgomery was projected into the first round coming into this year then went to 1-2 before ultimately being looked at as a 2nd-rounder. Green-Beckham is in the 1-2 range now and with his off the field concerns, a nonproductive season in college wouldn’t do him any favors. Therefore, if I’m in Green-Beckham’s camp, I wouldn’t trust Thomas and like the chances of Green-Beckham going late in the first round.
