Nothing to Stay For
Even thought he’s just a red-shirt sophomore, Williams is doesn’t have any area in his game that really needs developing. Don’t get me wrong, he can stand to and will get better at everything but he’s already a complete tight end with nothing lacking. The advanced programs and coaching he would get in the NFL would improve him much faster than college anyway.
Plus it’s not like the Golden Gophers are going to be in contention for a National Championship any time soon. And individually, he’s not going to be able to put up any kind of numbers because this team runs way more than it passes. Williams has gotten everything he’s going to get out of college football so it’s time for him to begin his journey to the elite of the NFL.
