The Talent is There

Like I already said in the last slide, talent is not the reason he should stay at UCLA, it’s really all the more reason to stay. Hundley has a tremendous arm and better down-the-field accuracy than Oregon Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota. That’s really not that hard to have for a quarterback prospect but he is accurate when he challenges defenses down the field.

He also has touch to drop some of his passes between certain levels of an opposing zone defenses and a quick release. And while he’s no Mariota when it comes to straight-up running, Hundley can run and has the ability to escape pressure. He’s also an authentically tough man at 6’3″, 230 pounds that will deliver the ball while getting nailed and comes back with a short memory after interceptions.
