Tevin Coleman

In my opinionated mock draft, I had Indiana Hoosiers running back Tevin Coleman going to the Indianapolis Colts in the first round. But the reality of it is the NFL devalues running backs until they need one in the playoffs and wonder why they don’t win. But since the whole NFL devalues them you don’t have to get one in the first round save for Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon, who are special.

But Coleman could be special himself as he has the acceleration to get through a hole and wheels to go the distance after seeing it with his great vision. Another thing the 6’1″, 210-pounder has is power to break tackles, drive for extra yardage or run a defensive back over. He reminds many scouts of Demarco Murray, who’s showing the value of a great running back to the Dallas Cowboys, so Coleman will be a steal in the second round.
