Bowl Season Top NFL Draft Prospects Update
Left Tackles
Stanford Cardinal left tackle Andrews Peat didn’t have any problems in pass protection in the Foster Farms Bowl and we knew he was good. LSU left tackle La’el Collins didn’t have any problems in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl and we knew he was good. But a guy that’s rapidly climbing up draft boards is Notre Dame Fighting Irish red-shirt sophomore left tackle Ronnie Stanley and we don’t know if he’s coming out yet.
But from what I saw him do against supposed 1st-round defensive end prospect Danielle Hunter, he should enter the draft. The only solo tackle I saw him make was on a play that Stanley was assigned to block another man, leaving Hunter unblocked. In the passing game, Hunter was shut down by the length, technique, feet and agility to deal with counter moves of Stanley.
