Edge Rushers
Hunter was completely under control by Stanley to the point where he stopped really trying so his stock is down now. Lousisville Cardinals outside linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin forced a fumble and recovered it but didn’t do much rushing the passer. The only top edge-rushing prospect to get a sack so far this week so far is Clemson Tigers edge-rusher Vic Beasley.
He showed an array of moves to go with the burst he has off the edge to be a very disruptive force for the Tigers. In the First half of the Russell Athletic Bowl, Beasley got a sack for his efforts and drew some extra attention from that point. He helped his Tigers hold the Oklahoma Sooners to just six points in the game to keep his high draft status.
