USC Trojans quarterback Cody Kessler made a good decision to go back to school for another year. After looking like Marc Sanches for the first half of the season, he looked like Carson Palmer in the second half of the season. In that second half, he completed 72 percent of his passes for 1,940 yards, 25 touchdowns and three interceptions for a pro quarterback rating of 135.1.

That hot finish didn’t include 321 yards, three touchdowns and an interception vs the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Holiday Bowl. And it got him on some draft boards but nothing very high as it was from rounds four to six where they had him. But if he picks up where he left off next year, he is sure to go in the first round so he made a very wise decision.
