Shawn Oakman

Baylor Bears defensive end Shawn Oakman is a 6’9″, 280-pound athletic freak that can rush the passer and play the run. He had 12 sacks this year in the Big 12 to show for his freakish athleticism for his size. You would think that such a talent would go ahead and make the jump but Oakman has decided to stay in school.

It was the right decision though because he wasn’t consistent and the reason for that is his technique. He’s still so raw and like I always say, the best way to be good at something is to know how to do what you’re doing. With one more year to tighten up on some things, he will be a Top-5 pick and a dangerous man in the NFL.
