Like USC Trojans Defensive lineman Leonard Williams, Armstead draws comparisons to former New England Patriots and star Richard Seymour. We’ll see what happens if he enters the draft and does the combine but he could be a better athlete than the other two. One thing that makes a case for that is he was a college basketball player all the way up until last February.

Either way, personnel people like him as an AFC West G.M. told Breer, “I can see him go very, very, high, he has everything you want out of a defensive lineman. Height, length, power, pass-rush ability. Needs to show more consistency but raw potential is very intriguing.”
