For a quarterback to be able to come in and turn your team around, he has to be able to win close games. Most games in the NFL are pretty close and for your quarterback to win those, he has to be clutch. Roethlisberger turned the Steelers around in part because he is tied for 12th all-time with Drew Brees in 4th-quarter comebacks with 25.

Winston has that clutch gene himself as he showed it with five 4th-quarter comebacks this year. The Seminoles always felt like they were going to win when a game was close because of Winston, their leader. Quarterbacks like that make their teams’ defense play that much better because they know if they can keep it close, their quarterback will get it done.
