Melvin Gordon of the Wisconsin Badgers is one of four men in college football history to run for over 2,400 yards. Of the other three, two of them were hits in the NFL with League MVP honors. And when you watch Melvin Gordon, you can see that he is one of the ones that’s going to be a hit.

Detractors will refer to former Wisconsin Badgers running back Ron Dayne busting after rushing for over 2,000 twice. Montee Ball, also a former Badger, has busted so far after rushing for over 1,900 yards in a season in college. But you really can’t put Gordon in the same box as running backs like Ball and Dayne.

Gordon plays an entirely different game as his style is nothing like the style of fomer Badgers.
