New Orleans Saints

The big question here is if defensive coordinator Rob Ryan will be back with the team. So we don’t know if the Saints are going to be in a 4-3 or a 3-4 so I’ll just go with Alvin Dupree at this spot. The explosive, 6’4″, 267-pound Dupree is athletic enough and has experience at 4-3 end and 3-4 outside backer.

Miami Dolphins

I like what they’re doing over there in Miami with head coach Joe Philbin and quarterback Ryan Tannehill. With a playmaker in the front-7 of the defense, they would be ready to deal with the New England Patriots. So their pick will be Shaq Thompson, who they can even move to strong safety if they wanted because of his athleticism, but the pick is because he’s the best available.

San Francisco 49ers

All the rumblings out of San Francisco don’t sound like receiver Michael Crabtree will be with the 49ers in 2015. And if they’re going to continue to develop quarterback Colin Kaepernick, they need a receiver for him. So in the first round, the 49ers will take West Virginia Mountaineers receiver Kevin White.
