Oklahoma Sooners nose tackle Jordan Phillips is a huge man that has risen up draft boards of late. I guess the scouting world had to see him make it through the season after his back injury last year. Plus he’s an underclassman that didn’t make his intentions to enter the NFL draft right away.
But once he entered, his rise up draft boards was meteoric on the strength of a great season. Right now, he’s right there on the fringe of the first and second round and a solid 1st-round prospect to many. Should he work out in the NFL, the team he goes to gets a good foundation piece on their defensive line.
