Bottom Line

All Jordan Phillips has to do is play with some knee-bend more consistently and he could dominate. The scouting world compared him to Dontari Poe and Albert Haynesworth and for me, Haynesworth is most accurate. I know he stopped trying once he signed that big contract but Haynesworth was dominant before that.

And with that type of skill-set, Phillips could be a very disruptive force with his mix of size, speed and power. Be it that he’s right there in the quarterbacks face as he pushes the center back, he can bat a whole lot of passes down at the line of scrimmage. He’ll also make more plays at the point of attack because putting his head down will get coached out of him.

It’s been reported that he just might run his 40 under five seconds too.

He’ll go in the first round.
