2015 2-Round NFL Mock Draft: Marcus Mariota Falls
Aug 30, 2014; Ann Arbor, MI, USA; Michigan Wolverines wide receiver Devin Funchess (87) makes a catch for a touchdown over Appalachian State Mountaineers defensive back Doug Middleton (21) and defensive back Jordan Ford (12) in the second quarter at Michigan Stadium. Houston Texans
Receiver Deandre Hopkins is taking over with the Houston Texans but Andre Johnson is still worth keeping around. So in the second round, the Texans select Devin Funchess from Michigan and move him to tight end, where they can use him. The more targets the Texans give quarterback Ryan Mallet when he gets back, the better.
Philadelphia Eagles
I think LSU defensive end Danielle Hunter could have been a 1st-round pick next year but came out too early. But the Eagles take him in the second round and move him to 3-4 outside linebacker where he’s a good fit. He may not be worth a Top-10 selection this year but Hunter can no doubt Help the Eagles.
Cincinnati Bengals
Bengals left tackle Andrew Whitworth is getting up there so the Bengals need a young left tackle. This way Whitworth can spend the Sunset of his career at guard still helping the team. So they select Jake Fisher of Oregon with their 2nd-round pick and quarterback Andy Dalton gets his blindside protected.
