Indiana Hoosiers running back Tevin Coleman is the most underrated player in the 2015 NFL Draft. It’s funny how they say the position is devalued now, yet 2007 1st-round pick Marshawn Lynch is poised to win his second Super Bowl in as many years. Having a great running back in the NFL is like having a great post-player in the NBA.

During the regular season in the NFL the weather is nice and you want to give the fans a lot of scoring, so they throw a lot. In the NBA, the regular season is filled with fast-break dunk drives to the basket for dunks or 3-pointers. But in the playoffs, the defenses get stingier and teams from both sports want to control the clock more.

So even though they’ve eliminated the center position from the NBA All-Star Game, they feed him in the post in the playoffs. And even though they’re trying to eliminate running backs being taken in the first round, they get fed in the playoffs too. Lynch was a huge part of his Seattle Seahawks’ championship run, just like Tim Duncan led the charge for the San Antonio Spurs.

And in this years draft, there are some high valued running backs in Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon and Tevin Coleman.
