Defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa of the UCLA Bruins has deservedly been rising up draft boards of late. I guess it was difficult for him to get noticed in the Pac 12 where there were guys that had almost 20 sacks. But since the offseason, he’s been pick up steam because the true evaluations have started and he wows you on tape.
His five sacks this season are more a result of him being misused that him just getting blocked. The Bruins play in a base 3-4 most of the time, 3-4 ends aren’t exactly known having a lot of sacks. When you see him coming of the left edge of the offense, you know a 4-3 team is going to get him because he is awesome out there.
