2015 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Dorial Green-Beckham
My Take
Strengths: The more than obvious strength of strengths for Green-Beckham is his freakish athleticism. He’s 6’6″, 225 pounds, recorded a 40-plus-inch vertical leap, has long arms, and great hands. That huge catch radius along with his ability to track the ball with and body control to adjust alone makes him a deep threat. The fact that he’s been clocked at 4.3 in the 40 makes him the ultimate deep threat.
Opponents are so scared of him, they turn and run as soon as the ball is snapped when lined up across from Green-Beckham. He’s also physical as I didn’t see the problem with press coverage Zlerlein saw and he blocks as he has some Hines Ward in him. He also runs well after the catch, breaking tackles and making defenders miss.
Weaknesses: There may be some things he does better than others but on the field, he has no weaknesses to me. His weaknesses lie in all the off-the-field troubles he’s gotten into during his time at Missouri. He’s going to have to show that he’s really learned his lessons in life in the interviews he’ll be going through.
