Much has been made of where No. 2 quarterback prospect Marcus Mariota will go in the draft. At first, the media had him at No. 1 overall but fellow quarterback Jameis Winston has since taken that spot. Then media scouts had him falling all over the place in the first round but now, he’s back in the Top-10.

During that time, Cleveland Browns  quarterback Johnny Manziel checked himself into rehab. And word got out that they have soured on their 2014 1st-round pick and no longer believe in him. Then few days ago, reports started surfacing that the Browns really liked Mariota.

But Mariota is very unlikely to fall all the way down to No. 12 where the Browns are slated to pick first. However, the Browns do have two 1st-round picks and can use them to move up to get him. I think there could be fire where this smoke is coming from because there’s some real evidence that Cleveland is in play for Mariota.
