Oakland Raiders Free Agency: Building up

Terrance Knighton
To complete the Broncos package, nose tackle Terrance Knighton is another Bronco that’s pretty much expected to be a Raider. The Broncos can’t franchise him because they’ll either do that with Thomas or not have enough money to after they re-sign him. And Knighton has made it clear that he wants to be wherever Del Rio is and you know where that is.
Knighton first played under Del Rio when he was picked by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round in 2009. And as soon as he was fired in Jacksonville and became defensive coordinator in Denver, Knighton was soon to follow. And here we are six years later and he still thinks the world of and wants to play for Del Rio.
That’s the best thing that could happen for the Raiders, who haven’t stopped the run since 2002. I remember wanting the Raiders to sign Knighton when he became a free agent back in 2013. And at almost 29, Knighton still has a few good years left in him as he is not the most dominant nose tackle against the run there is and will help the Raiders stop the run.
