Tevin McDonald started out at UCLA then ended up at Eastern Washington because of a team policy violation. And that’s what has him down in the seventh round because it surely isn’t his talent. His father is T.J. McDonald, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers so you know football is in his blood.
McDonald has kept his nose clean at Eastern Washington so the Raiders should take him here. He could then continue to prove himself to be reliable while developing behind the great Charles Woodson. Then in a couple of years, he could very well become a solid starting free safety in the NFL.
