In this NFL Draft scouting report, we cover Boise State Broncos running back Jay Ajayi. Ajayi is getting a lot of love from the scouts lately and NFL Network draft analyst Charles Davis loves him. He’s coming into the NFL off of a strong junior campaign in which he had 1,823 yards rushing, 2,358 yards from scrimmage and 32 total touchdowns.

He only averaged 5.3 yards per carry, which isn’t that impressive for a college running back. But his record-setting season of 1,800-plus yards rushing and 500-plus receiving shouldn’t be ignored. That kind of production has to have some kind of skill behind it so he’ll get a look not too late in the draft.
