Georgia has always been a running team so receiver prospect Chris Conley didn’t put up big numbers. The scouting media questioned his speed, physicality and suddeness running routes too. I was only able to find him on one draft board and he was listed as seventh round/undrafted free agent.

But with his performance at the combine, Conley has officially put himself on the map with scouts. He had 18 reps of 225 to tie for second and ran his 40 in 4.35 to tie for third among receivers. Then he got real freaky and crushed everyone with a 45-inch vertical leap and a 139-inch broad jump.

Then in the 3-cone drill, which is very important, he had a time 7.06 seconds, pretty good for a guy that’s 6’2″, 213 pounds. In position drills, he didn’t catch every single thing but caught the ball well and didn’t look like he had problems. To me, he made big money as he went from a possible undrafted free agent to at least a middle rounds selection.
