At the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, the defensive back position had some guys that were moving. They moved well in drills, really moved in the 40-yard dash, therefore, they moved up draft boards. And as I’ve said in previous articles, these 40s didn’t make the scouting world see that they could play.
These players moved up draft boards because that had good tape out there but had questions coming in. The combine just let the scouting world know that in some cases, there was no need to worry about speed. And in other cases, it made the scouting world take another look at the good tape they have out there because not much attention was paid to them coming in.
So turn the page to see which DBs made a move up draft boards.
