I’ve been going back and forth on this one every since the NFL season ended a month and some change ago. I just didn’t think the Lions would allow him to hit the market and there he is. He is the quintessential Raider and has been so long before the Raiders were ever in contention for him.

And now they are as NFL.com’s Around the NFL writer Marc Sessler said, “NFL Media columnist Michael Silver reported Thursday that the Oakland Raiders are planning to bring the free-agent defensive tackle in for a visit next week, per a source familiar with the team’s plans.”

NFL free agency isn’t like a tour where you save the best for last—if a player is going to sign, they usually don’t take a tour. Suh can do what he wants but usually, if a player likes a team on his first visit, he signs and doesn’t usually come back if he doesn’t. So be it that the Raiders are the only visit his camp announced he has scheduled, there’s a good chance he becomes a Raider next week.

I don’t think he’ll be able to resist the thousands screaming of fans outside the building when he gets there.
