This is a pretty deep draft, especially with pass rushers so some of the other positions are being overlooked a bit. Middle linebacker is one of them and Stephone Anthony has been under the radar until the Senior Bowl and the combine. All the attention is on Benardrick McKinney, Eric Kendricks and Denzel Perryman.

So the Raiders get a good football player and a steal at middle linebacker in Anthony to fit a need. The Raiders would no then no longer need to play the misplaced Miles Burris at middle linebacker. That means they have a chance to stop the run and won’t give up an automatic mismatch in the passing game.
