Strong saftety Tyvon Branch is outta there after playing five games in two years. Charles Woodson balled, making the defense better when he moved from his free safety position to strong safety. We just don’t know how long Woodson is going to last and after cutting Usama Young, the Raiders have no depth at saftey.

So in the sixth round, the Raiders address the safety position and take free safety Adrain Amos. At 6’0″, 218, he has the size and strength to play in the box if he needs to slide up to strong safety. He has experience at corner too and a safety that can cover is the perfect partner for the also versatile Charles Woodson.
