Maclin Better

Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin is the best receiver of the 2015 free agent class if he gets there. He’s came back from a torn ACL to catch 85 passes for 1,318 yards 10 touchdowns and a 15.5 average. Cobb had 91 catches for 1,287 yards, 12 touchdowns and a 14.1 average for the season.

But Maclin did his damage as a No. 1 receiver and with Nick Foles half the season and Mark Sanchez the other half. Cobb can’t apologize for having a better quarterback but that counts and what counts more is Maclin beating No.1 corners. Plus being the vertical threat that he is, he’ll open up the running game as well as the underneath routes for others.

He also has better production over his career so there’s less wondering if he’s a flash in the pan. Musgrave knows this one pretty well too as he was his offensive coordinator in Philly just last year. The Raiders offense would be especially better with the addition of Maclin with Harvin to complement him.
