For an NFL franchise to improve, management has to make up their mind that they want to win. Then they have to figure out just how they’ll go about it and the process starts from there. For the Jacksonville Jaguars’ front office, it started in 2013 when they hired former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley as their head coach.
And since that hiring, the former defensive coordinator has started to establish an identity on defense. They still need a couple of more pieces but they have an good interior defensive line that can really rush the passer now. On offense, they’ve drafted a left tackle, a receiver, a franchise quarterback in the first round.
Then they got themselves a running back in free agency but his stint began in a rough note. However, the Jaguars are starting the league year on a great note having secured some players that should help them. Then with the third pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, they can make themselves in even better.
Turn the page to see what they’ve done in free agency so far and what it means.
