What is head coach Chip Kelly doing with the Philadelphia Eagles?

He was given full control over personnel of the team after winning 20 games in his first two years. Then he lets receivers Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, running back Lesean McCoy and quarterback Nick Foles go. Critics say he’s turning the Eagles into the Philadelphia Ducks and that it won’t work in the NFL.

Kelly now has nine Oregon Ducks on his team after trading McCoy for inside linebacker Kiko Alonso. NFL Network has the Eagles as the losers of 2015 NFL Free Agency and criticized him for it. NFL Total Access, a show on NFL Network, aired some of the calls into a local radio station of fans venting their frustrations.

But Philly fans need to hold up and stick by their team because no one knows if it will work or not. Talent+scheme-fit+players have to buy in=the correct personnel for your team so Eagle’s fans have to be patient. Kelly needs players that fit and buy into his scheme first so the whole building can be unified.

Can he turn those Ducks into effective Eagles?

Will he find other guys that fit his system?

Turn the page to see Kelly’s plan to do that.
