Kelly really went out and got his guy in a trade with the St. Louis Rams, sending quarterback Nick Foles for Sam Bradford. This is a win-win here as both quarterbacks get a chance for a fresh start somewhere. All the while, Bradford is the better quarterback when healthy and played in a similar system in college.

One may be concerned about the injury history of Bradford but Foles just got injured himself in 2014. The fit is the most important thing here, speaking of which, it was he that reached out to Murray first to get that started. The two were roommates at Oklahoma so I’m sure a Bradford had Murray in mind when he signed.

Others may be concerned about Bradford’s ability to run in order to make the offense work. But that shouldn’t be a concern because Bradford ran it in college and was never a running quarterback. Foles isn’t either so Kelly doesn’t need Bradford to run to be able to run as he leaves that to Murray.
