The Front-Seven
To win the AFC, the Colts have to stop the run and get after quarterbacks like Tom Brady. With LaRon Landry gone, the secondary doesn’t look too bad so they improved their front-seven. Outside linebacker Trent Cole was signed to rush the passer from the opposite edge of Robert Mathis.
Kendall Langford, a 4-3 defensive tackle with the St. Louis Rams, was brought on to be a 3-4 end. And he will help the Colts out against the run and push the pocket back into the quarterbacks face. Inside linebackers D’Quell Jackson and Jerrell Freeman are pretty good football players so all the Colts need on defense is a good nose tackle.
There will be a few good ones in the draft when they pick too.
