Stefen Wisniewski

The Oakland Raiders would have re-signed center Stefen Wisniewski if Rodney Hudson weren’t available. Being a Raiders fan myself, I liked him, thinking he’s pretty good on a team full of horrible players. When I found out the Raiders were going to let him hit the market, I became frustrated.

Then I heard the Raiders had a chance to sign Hudson and that really shut me up. When you have a chance to go from pretty good to great at a position, you have to take that chance. But Wisniewski is a pretty good center that’s still young so he can still get better.

When Max Unger was traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the New Orleans Saints, I saw a fit there. He played under assistant head coach and offensive line coach Tom Cable for a time in Oakland. And not too long after, I heard he visited with the Seahawks, leaving without a contract but I think that’s where he belongs.
