Tight end Charles Clay is now officially a Buffalo Bill because the Dolphins couldn’t match their offer. The deal Clay signed was for $38 million over 5 years with $20 million of it  guaranteed. This is another move the Bills are making that signifies that the Bills are not playing around and all in for 2015. From the beginning of the league year, the Bills have been busy bees, shaping the roster.

The Bills started their ground-and-pound movement with the trade for running back LeSean McCoy. Then they signed road-grading guard Richie Incongnito to help open some holes for McCoy. Already having receivers Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods, the Bills added Percy Harvin to make plays in any way needed.

And when you think the Bills are fully loaded on offense already, they bring in a very talented tight end like Clay. Even an average quarterback can score points with that offense so the brought in quarterback Matt Cassell in case E.J. Manuel still doesn’t get it. Whoever plays quarterback for the Bills will have a heck of a security blanket to go with all the weaponry he would need.

And there’s no need to worry about the defense that led the NFL in sacks in 2014 with Rex Ryan there. Being a defensive mastermind he is, he’s going to have a ball using the front-seven to terrorize quarterbacks. The Bills defense gave Brady problems last year and Ryan is known to give Brady problem throughout his coaching career.

They’ve joined forces to give Brady even more problems as they will apply pressure to the pocket. And now, you’re give Ryan an offense with a full compliment of weapons on offense to go with it. Clay is the final piece to complete the offense that Ryan has never had to go with his defenses as a head coach.

Look out Patriots!
