Bottom Line

Winston seems to have gotten past Mariota in whatever competition the media had between those two. Now, it’s off to a real competition like what he does in his first year in the NFL compared to Andrew Luck. Luck had a ready made playoff team that needed only a quarterback to come in and play well in a bad division.

And from the looks of the NFC South, the Buccaneers can do the same thing if Winston has the same impact Luck did. Winston is going into the NFL from a pro style offense just like Luck was so he’s just as prepared. These are darn-near identical circumstances he’s going in under so there are no excuses.

In 2011, the Colts did their suck for Luck.

In 2014, the Buccaneers showed us what lame is for Jameis.

The Colts got a great quarterback out of their deal.

What are the Buccaneers getting?

The opportunity is there for Winston to be great right away.
