In this NFL 2-Round Mock Draft 2015, I have the San Diego Chargers trading up for Marcus Mariota. I thought I was done with this trade stuff but the rumors about this trade are picking up steam. And the fact that Philip Rivers won’t re-sign with them is reason enough to try to trade Rivers to can get something for him.
Head coach Ken Whisenhunt, would probably get fired before Mariota became anything special under him. And Rivers, who reportedly doesn’t want to move to Los Angeles if the Chargers go, is from around 100 miles away from Memphis Tennessee. Kevin Acee of U.T San Diego.com reported that the Chargers could send Rivers and a late-round pick for the No. 2 overall.
