Leonard Williams. 1. player. 28.
The best overall player in the draft is going to fall to the Raiders two years in a row. It happened in 2014 because the Houston Texans drank Jadeveon Clowney’s spiked Kool-Aid and got drunk. Picks two and three drafted for need, the Buffalo Bills traded up to No. 4 to grab receiver Sammy Watkins, and Khalil Mack falls into the Raiders’ lap.

This year, Jameis Winston will go to the quarterback needy Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 1 overall. NFL execs are drunk on the Marcus Mariota Kool-Aid these days so he looks to be going No. 2. From there, the Jacksonville Jaguars are strong at the interior defensive line while Dante Fowler is a highly touted prospect that fits the Jaguars defensive scheme perfectly.

That means top prospect Leonard Williams will land right in the Raiders’ lap at No. 4. And there’s no way the Raiders pass on him there as he is the best player, a need, and a scheme fit for the Raiders. With 2013 first-round pick D.J. Hayden having his first offseason and Mack coming back for his second season, the Raiders defense could be dominant.
. DL. USC
