RB. Georgia. Todd Gurley. 1. player. 51.
The St. Louis Rams got themselves a quarterback they believe can stay healthy in free agency. They have a solid group of receivers and everyone knows they have an outstanding, young defense. So in the first round, the Rams selected Todd Gurley, a big-time running back, to play to that defense.

With Gurley and the defense, quarterback Nick Foles won’t be required to win ball games. But even managing games, he’ll have to go down the field at times to make the defense pay for crowding the box. That, along with the running of Gurley, requires blocking so they picked Rob Havenstien in the second round.

He’s expected to take over the right tackle spot while 2014 first-round pick Greg Robinson is on the left side. And in the third round, they selected Jamon Brown, who I expect to be moved to right quarter. From there, Roger Saffold will be at left guard with Tim Barnes at center and if the combination works, expect the Rams to contend for the NFC West title.
