As the Cleveland Browns couldn’t stop the run last year, they did what everyone expected and took nose tackle Danny Shelton in the first round. I’m expecting inside linebackers Karlos Dansby and Craig Robertson to have it easy behind Shelton. And with the pass defense already being good, the unit as a whole will be strong in 2015.

With their second selection in the first round, the Browns selected offensive lineman Cameron Irving. This is a valueable pick because the Browns will finally get to move right tackle Mitchell Schwartz to guard like they’ve wanted to. So while Erving starts out at right tackle, he can come inside to center if they lose Alex Mack in free agency after the 2015 season.

Outside linebacker Nate Orchard is a good pick in the second round to rush the passer as Barkevious Mingo is a bust in that department. And in the third round, the Browns selected Duke Johnson to add some pop to the running game. If quarterback Johnny Manziel can get it together or if Josh McCown has one good year left, the Browns could be formidable.
. NT. Washington. Danny Shelton. 1. player. 53
