Leonard Williams. 1. player. 30.
The New York Jets ended up have the universally known best prospect in the draft fall to them at No. 6. So even though they have two dominant 3-4 ends, they had to take Williams there anyway. Now, they have assets they can trade plus Mohamed Wilkerson will be looking for a payday when this season is over.

Quarterback Geno Smith finished the season strong last year so he’ll be back to see if he can take that step up this year. And in the second round, the Jets selected Devin Smith, a deep threat, that will open up things between making big plays. And this is the Jets hope for having a good offense to go with the defense they have.

Going back to that defense, it stands to get better too after they selected outside linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin in the third round. With everything the Jets already have on that defense, and edge-rusher is all they needed. He fell to the third round because this is a deep class of edge-rushers but he will be a big help to the Jets.
. DL. USC
