Minnesota Vikings. 5. player. 60.
The Minnesota Vikings have improved a pretty good defense from last year. Outside linebacker Anthony Barr can get after the quarterback and they picked defensive end Danielle Hunter in third round of the draft to help him out. But what the Vikings really needed going into the offseason were guys that cover and help stop the run.

And they checked those boxes starting in free agency by signing corner Terrance Newman in free agency. In the draft, the Vikings took corner Trae Waynes in the first round and inside linebacker Eric Kendricks in the second. So now, they have a solid defense to go with newly found franchise quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

He’ll be back with a deep threat Mike Wallace, whom the Vikings added to their roster in free agency. But what improves this team the most is what made the team relevant before and that’s mercurial running back Adrian Peterson. He’ll be back off of suspension while a couple his offensive lineman will be back from injury.
. 7-9 in 2014. Could contend in 2015
